From tomorrow any vehicle that passes to “The nation's path” will pay 5-10 euros

Infrastructure Minister Paul Lekaj has announced that he is interested as soon as things are defined in highways, saying that good models for the development of this project will be taken into account.

“As far as the fee for highway exploitation is concerned, we expect a measure report on the number of vehicles that circulate and other conditions that must be met to reach a price that will be reasonable for citizens. We are interested as soon as we first define things on highways and on road payments, but also on the functioning of the pre-retire resorts at the” road belt, Lekaj said, adding that the best models for the development of this project will be taken into account.
While Safet Gerjaliu, chairman of the Kosovo Economic Ode (OEK), said such a tax on the highway would generate much more negative effects than positive.
He explained that sufficient barriers exist between a people divided into two states, and that would be an additional barrier that will hit Kosovars the most.
