Thaci also met with Merkel's adviser, but what they talked about is unknown

Why, for reasons unknown, have not made public their meeting. On the other hand, many other senior Kosovo officials have announced the meeting with Merkel's adviser.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel's foreign policy adviser, Jan Hecker, remained for a day-long visit to Kosovo politicians. However, not every meeting was disclosed to the media.

This senior official met with Prime Minister Kadri Veselini, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, Enver Hoxhaj, Behgjet Pacolli, Avdulah Hoti and Vjosa Osmani. Almost all of them announced that they have held meetings among themselves, but that is not what President Thaci has done.

From his office, they have admitted that the meeting between the two officials has been held, but they have not indicated the reason.

From the German Embassy, they haven't provided details about Thaci's meeting with Hacker.
