The chairman of the Kosovo Democratic Party's branch in Fushe Kosovo, Naser Gajchev, the two deputy speakers Bajram Shala and Nijazi Kolshi, as well as several members of the Headship and the Steering Council have resigned from all structures and from being PDK members.
All of these have said they are not resigning to be relieved of responsibility, but due to circumstances created bypassing by the PDK centre and the inability to improve the current situation.
Full communication of those who resign:
The branch of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) in Fushe-Kosovo has been developing political activity since its establishment (in 2000) and has done continued work to improve the overall life of the field society in building local and national state institutions. Within political activity, The PDK in Fushe-Kosovo has done fruitless work in general social and party interest, and has played a key role as opposition to the Fushe-Kosovo Municipal Assembly institutions, always engaging in improving the lives of citizens.
The challenges, sacrifices, commitments and determination of the PDK membership in Fushe-Kosovo have been and are unfathomable to others, the fact that they have given can be avoided to change the approach of the governing bodies in Fushe-Kosovo in relation to its citizens. In addition, membership with their leaders has greatly contributed to PDK party empowerment and massification.
The unmatched contribution, party Stoicism and the long opposition position of membership and PDK leaders in Fushe-Kosovo for 18 years has never been assessed according to meritocracy by the PDK centre. For these 18 years, the centre's cadrovic policies against quadros and experts stemming from the broad PDK branch membership in Fushe-Kosovo have been unfair and negligible. These facts have already been accepted by current and earlier centre leaders both at party forums and at electoral gatherings with membership.
The transition to employment of this part of membership, citizens and the youth of Fushe-Kosovo is evidenced also by the facts that in public companies, such as: KEK, Infrakos, Trainkos, “Adem Jashari” International Airport, a part of PTK, KEDS and COST, which have headquarters and location of their business activities in Fushe-Kosovo, which should have priority in employment. In all these companies, unfortunately, as do numerous relatives, creditable cadres from Fushe-Kosovo have been deprived of the right to hold leadership positions in these companies. Through these membership bypasses and the overall youth of Fushe-Kosovo have been deprived of the right to equal treatment in employment. Every citizen of Fushe Kosovo in particular: Grabovci, the Great White, the Midwest, the White White, the Slatine, Harilaqi, Hentz, the Low and Upper Miradys, the Vragolias and Lismir, are angry about their bypass in employment. Out of the total responsibility of some disabled leaders (directors), piloted into these companies, not only is it abused by employment, but the lives of the citizens of the Fushe-Kosovo municipality and their properties are being damaged daily even environmentally.
This branch, with over 820 activists organized according to organisational standards: The Parliament, the Steering Council, Branch Chiefs, Democratic Youth, Democratic Woman, Council and Headship of the Sub-Streets, expert groups, and so on. They have contributed to each election election, contributing 2300-3,200 votes to the PDK barn. This indifferent approach of the centre to them has created dilemmas in continuing further support. Therefore, this approach, not motivating to this part of society, is unacceptable to its destructive part, excluding individuals who have benefited, not in regular institutional lines, but from finding, proximity, or other forms.
The centre's continued unwillingness to deal with this branch with dignity, especially its devout membership, has resulted in several previous individual resignations of members of the leadership, with the resignations of the former Democratic Youth Headship a year ago, while there has been continued membership requirements to seek other personal or group options, but that the leaders of the headship of this branch have prevented them from always asking for understanding by all the agreement of the centre's commitment to the commitment of the opportunities that were available for these 18 years were never realised. It should also be pointed to the fact that not only the current leadership but also the preliminary heads of the branch have never stopped asking for support for its membership from the centre, but their demands have always failed to make any concrete effect more than promises of the centre before or during election processes.
Obligations, accountability to membership, branch leaders have always been in first place, while on the other hand, not including decision - making and lack of support has created difficulties until unable to help or advance the general interests of the branch.
Obedience, commitment, commitment, and sacrifice of membership and headship have been constant and persistent in advancing joint processes.
Looking at all these bypasses, disrespect and failure to look at this branch, and not looking to the horizon of any hope that this situation can change, we stated, the vice-presidents, several members of the PDK Branch Leadership and Steering Council in Fushe-Kosovo, resign from all structures and from being members of the PDK, not to release responsibility, but because of the circumstances created bypassing and invisibility to improve the current situation.
In this case, we thank all PDK members in Fushesh-Kosovo and other branch structures for the faith and unhurt support they have given us on the 18-year common journey. Our individual or group political activity will not be halted, continued in various forms to contribute to general interest in social, political, social and economic life in the Fushe-Kosovo municipality and beyond, so each member who feels disappointed and ignored will be welcome in the new format of political engagement.
The resignations have been declared, at the meeting of March 24, 2018, at a grateful ceremony in the presence of the Steering Council, Branch Headship, and other structures.
May we all succeed and succeed.
On behalf of declared resignations:
Naser Gajchev, chairman
Bajram Shala, deputy chairman
Nijazi Kolshi, vice president
