The March 23rd Friday will mark the end of the trial at which the former imam is facing three counts of prosecution, the drive for terrorism, the instigation of hatred and tax evasion.
The date of the plea has been set by the court at today's hearing after he announced the procedure closed after the prosecutor, the accused and his defender, granted their protection.
Two witnesses have been heard in this trial, considered to be reading the statements of two other witnesses, while, among other things, have been administered as evidence and three responses of the Kosovo Islamic Community, as well as two Krasniqi speeches.
According to the indictment, Shefqet Krasniqi is charged with three criminal acts.
The indictment claims that the push for the conduct of terrorist acts has been carried out between 2013 and 2014, while the crime of tax evasion has been carried out from 2011 to 2016.
Always according to the indictment, Shefqet Krasniqi, in the quality of the large mosque imam “Mehmet Fatih” in Pristina, has consistently and deliberately distributed messages to the public. Through his direct presentations to the public through various speeches, as well as by exploiting social networks and other information tools, through the rude language and the interpretation of Koran verses outside the time context and the principled Islamic spirit, has led others to take the path to the conflict zone in Syria and Iraq and then commit terrorist acts.
Also, according to the indictment the high-ranking defendant as taxpayer and business owner N.T. “Portat” has deliberately hidden and avoided taxes, and did not declare other relevant data regarding tax obligations, avoiding tax obligations at a total value of 20,208.57 euros.
All these claims of the Kosovo Special Prosecutor's Act have been denied by Krasniqi, who has been declared innocent.
The Actakuz has been established by a local prosecutor of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, who has proposed to the court that the defendant plead guilty and condemn him by law. /Cashho. com
