Yesterday and today judges of Kosovo's Specialised Chambers have gathered at The Hague for the Third Plenare, the Office for the Media of this Court reports.

On March 15th and 16th 2018, Kosovo's Specialised Chambers Judges gathered at The Hague for the Third Plenare. With approval, reexamination and entry into effect of the Procedure and Evidence Adjust during the First and Second Plenares held in 2017, in July of that year, judges established the conditions for the specialised Chambers to be fully functional in a judicial sense. Since order has not yet been tested in practice, it was not necessary this time to propose or discuss its changes”, the court's announcement said.

The court has reported more specifically about this meeting, adding that the judges were notified of the Administrative Office's activity over the past year.

“In Plenare judges were informed of activities of the Administrative Office over the past year, which have further enabled effective implementation of the mandate of the Specialised Chambers. During the discussions, the judges focused on future duties. In accordance with the Law for Specialised Chambers and the Specialised Prosecutor's Office, all judges of Specialised Chambers are part of the Judges' Record, but they receive no payment or benefit only from the fact that they are part of this Registra”, becomes known in this announcement.

The judges are physically present at room headquarters only as necessary, at the request of the Speaker, to exercise functions that require their presence.
