This winter storm called “Riely” has touched an area stretching from Maryland to Masacuset and is expected to last until the early hours of Saturday morning.
Its intensity was increased by a phenomenon called “meteorological bomb”, characterized by a significant drop in atmospheric pressure.
In the Washington region, climate conditions accompanied by strong winds of up to 120 km per hour have forced the government to close all federal administrative services along with schools.
