Sefaj sée intends to resign, seeks clarification from Haradinaj

Interior Affairs Minister Flamur Sefaj has yet to resign from this position following Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's request for immediate release from the minister's responsibility.

Insander finds out Sefaj is not planning to quit.

According to a source close to Minister Sefaj, he is preparing a letter through which he will ask for reasons why he should leave this position.

“Sefaj with this document will seek to know why Haradinaj has sought to release this position. Sefaj is still minister”, that source said.

Even lawyer Besnik Berisha through a Facebook status has asked whether the prime minister dismissed or demanded the resignation of Minister Flamur Sefaj and AKI chief Driton Gashi.

“Already fired the prime minister, already demanding the interior minister's resignation, to the director of AKI, that these two things distinguish... What if those who accepted the request for release replied that “Thank you, but we're not interested. Prime Minister, if you're willing to dismiss the minister, issue a decision on release, and don't ask for his release...”, Berisha writes.

Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj today has asked Sefaj to leave this position.

“Based on constitutional competencies, as prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo I have requested immediate release from the responsibility of the director of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency, Mr. Driton Gashi and immediate release from the responsibility of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Flag Sefaj”, Haradinaj has declared.
