(8 years ago)The National Institute of Public Health during the permanent monitoring of infectious diseases in Kosovo, through the monitoring system of the epidemiological situation in today's summary report, has found a decline in seasonal flu cases below the epidemic threshold. A total of 52,459 suspected cases of flu cases, 4725 cases of Accus Respiratory Infection and 92 SARI cases (Affliction of the Ice Respiratory Respiration).
During the week of 0950, 3116 suspected cases of the flu, 218 cases of Accus Respiratory Infection, and 3 SARI cases (Affluation of the Ice Respiratory Respiration).
At the labs of the National flu Centre, at the National Institute since the start of the flu season, 273 people have resulted in positive in Influence. According to the type, 120 cases are positive in Influence A and 153 in Influence B.
56 cases belong to the subtype A(H1)pdm09, and the other 64 cases are non-diagnosed A.
The 153 confirmed cases belong to type B, 48 of them are the subtype Yamamata (“The Japanese Grip”).
The epidemic of seasonal flu has a sharp drop in intensity and is below the epidemic threshold, marking a steady decline.
The National Institute recommends that citizens take care of themselves and not be out in the cold environment (especially in the following week), not to stay indoors with great density, and to use as many hot fluids and vitamins as possible.
All who feel sick should be introduced to the family doctor as soon as possible to prevent complications.
