According to SBASK, tomorrow there will be no lesson

According to the SBASK communiqué, the strike will be all-day and start at 9 and will continue until 12am Monday, March 12th 2018.

“The educational workers of both shifts will be together in educational institutions during the strike time, and will be listed on the participants' lists on strike”.

SBASK leads parents on March 12th not to start their children off to school because this day there is no lesson because it is a day strike.

The following is the complete SBASK communiqué:

Honored colleagues and colleagues in all Kosovo educational institutions are informing you that the SBASK has not ceased to engage in dialogue with Government to meet our demands and that the Law on the status of Albanian education workers of the Republic of Kosovo for the 1990s get the green light and go to Parliament.

It will stress that Prime Minister Haradinaj and Minister Bytyqi have stepped up commitments for this issue to be resolved, but according to our information is Minister Bedri Hamza and the Ministry of Finance that stands in the way of, without even a lasting reason, the realisation of this major demand, and therefore based on the Resolution of Congress 7 related to union actions, SBASK announces a one-day strike on March 12th in all educational institutions, consciously in primary secondary schools and the Universe excluding centres.

The strike will begin at 9: 00 p.m. and will continue until 12 on Monday, March 12, 2018.

Education workers of the two shifts will be together in educational institutions during the strike's time, and at its closure it will be listed on the participants' lists on the strike.

We look to the parents who on March 12 do not start their children off to school because this day there is no lesson because it is a day strike.

We hope that this next move, or the March 12th Day strike, will influence the positive and concrete reflection of the Ministry of Finance, on the contrary without our will on April 13th, will be postponed by respecting the Resolution of the SBASK Congress regarding the union's actions to launch the general and indefinite strike, whether to the full implementation of our demands.

The SBASK requires understanding from parents, students and students and urged them to raise their voices and ask the Government to implement the obligations it has pledged itself to meet the legitimate requirements of the SBASK so that there is no need in the future for union action, responsible for strikes, which will happen if the government does not reflect.
