The BBC reports that Russia will expel 23 British diplomats, following tensions that emerged between the two countries due to the poisoning of a former spy and his daughter in Great Britain.
This decision by Russia comes in response to the decision that the previous day took on Great Britain to expel 23 Russian diplomats, Periscope follows.
They were ordered to leave after the incident in Salisbury, for which the British government has directly blamed Russia.
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement delivered days earlier, had said the British staff would be deported within a week.
