After heavy snowfalls in the country last night at 24:00 p.m., all the maintenance companies on the road are on the job and have begun clearing roads, said Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Infrastructure Rexhep Kadriu, adding that by 1: 00 a.m. after midnight all roads in the Republic of Kosovo have been cleared for the free movement of citizens, as well as all the Kosovo border crossings have been fleeting and without major difficulties.
Deputy Prime Minister Kadriu has told Kosovo Preress that at Pristina Airport, this morning there have been delays in flights, but have already normalised, and planes have begun flying to their destinations.
At the moment with the latest 10:00 report, which we have received from managers of all regions of the Republic of Kosovo, all roads are even more circulated and at all locations border crossings are free. Right now I'm at the airport in Pristina, there are delays in flights due to lack of visibility, but it's already starting to normalize flying. Rescripts have been halted, and planes are regularly flying”, Kadriu said.
He has added that even roads in Pristina are fleeting, but may be slippery, even though this is the competence of the Pristina municipality.
Kadriu has appealed to the drivers to be equipped with winter equipment in these snowy days.
