On Wednesday, Kosovo's Assembly after a marathon session of speeches and tear gas approved the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro.
The adoption of this agreement was also the 95th criterion set by the European Union, before the removal of the visa regime towards Kosovo citizens.
After meeting this last criterion, EU Commissioner for Internal Affairs Dimitris Avramoopoulos would visit Kosovo.
This has been confirmed for Indexline, the very Minister of European Integration, Gift Hoxha, under which this senior official will soon visit Kosovo.
“In the call I developed with Commissioner Avramoopoulos has confirmed that very soon he plans to visit Kosovo”, Hoxha has said.
According to her, with this visit, Avramoopoulos will reconfirm his friendship with Kosovo.
“He would come to reconfirm the support he has given as Kosovo friend and will give to the citizens of Kosovo and the Republic of Kosovo, in terms of the visa liberalisation process”, Hoxha has said further.
Meanwhile, Avramopollos himself after crossing the demarcation in the Kosovo Assembly has said he would be the happiest man to decide whether to sign the visa liberalisation decision for Kosovo citizens.
