KSF Deputy Minister Burim Ramadani has said that Kosovo is serious likely to join INTERPOL in the autumn.
He writes on Facebook:
The entry of Kosovo's app into the official INTERPOL agenda is extremely good news.
This autumn, Kosovo is seriously likely to membership in INTERPOL.
By contrast, Kosovo Police, since its establishment, have established co-operation with INTERPOL and EUROOPOL, but exchange of information is mostly done through the United Nations Administration Office, which inherited the UN Mission in Kosovo after its restructuring.
Two international security institutions, E UROPOL and INTERPOL are the most important mechanisms and one of their tasks lies in the area of international police co-operation in fighting crime, of any kind.
