(8 years ago)The Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren, under official duty and in co-operation with the chief state prosecutor, has launched investigations against responsible persons and legal subjects, which have imported from Belgium quantities of suspicious quality meat, in the direction of criminal work “production and the circulation of harmful food items”, from Article 267, [...]
“This prosecutor, through the order of competent judges of the preliminary procedure in co-operation with the Kosovo Police, the Economic Crimes and Corruption Investigations Unit in Prizren, and the inspectors of the Food and Veterinary Agency, has carried out raids and searches at the houses and establishments of judicial subjects, one on the territory of Rahoveci and the other of Suhareka, and has seized the necessary evidence for criminal procedure, as well as quantity of meat aged” in the State Prosecutor's statement.
The Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren will continue investigations into the concrete case and will inform the public of the course of this case.
Meanwhile, the State Attorney requires all those with information on it to address the prosecution and cooperate with the prosecution's post-enforcement agencies not only of this case but also of other cases for which they may have knowledge. Periscope
