The “Adem Jashari” square, which is located between the 2 highest central and municipal institutions, the Kosovo Assembly and the Pristina municipality, warns it will be adjusted this spring, even though both institutions have defined nothing about investment.
Left in a poor state for years, the space of this square located in the centre of the city has been largely destroyed and reflects bad image for Pristina, while both institutions have a share in its ownership, writes today “Koha Ditore”.
And although, Pristina chairman Shpend Ahmeti, had warned for three years of his adjustment, this has not yet happened, since the Kosovo Parliament and the Community have not defined the investment agreement on it.
Now, Parliament Speakers have said the Pristina municipality has no longer renewed the initiative to regulate this square, since one such one initiated two years ago has remained “stand by”.
