Political clashes and interests have devalred school in Kosovo to the extent that recognition of students who have conducted the faculty in Kosovo has now been questioned.
The expulsion of the Kosovo Agency for Accreditation (AKA) from the European Writer for Quality Insurance (EQAR) is the reflection of the damaged reputation of education due to the loss of autonomy, as a result of policy intervention, Koha Ditore writes today.
This week in an extraordinary session called by the opposition, clashes between political forces for the sector emerged. The hearing was called by the opposition after ECAR expelled the AKA, with the reasoning that with the dismissals that the Minister of Education, Science and Technology at this institution the “Agency has lost the ability to operate autonomously”.
On September 25th 2017, Minister Shyqit Bytyqi fired the State Quality Council (KHSC) and Kosovo Agency for Accredity task manager Ramush Haradinaj. The request said that the accreditation process was forwarded to “serious irregularities”.
