25-year-old Mohammed Najjar was shot in the stomach in a crash east of Jabalia in the Belt of Northern Gaza, until 38-year-old Amin Mahmud Muammari and Mohammed Abu Omar were shot dead in Rafah, the minister of health of Palestine said through a statement.
The fourth victim has been identified as a 16-year-old named Ahmed Oudeh, while the fifth victim is named Jihad Franeh, 33-year-old, reports “Al Jazeera”, the Periscopi broadcast.
On Friday morning, Omar Samour, 31, of Gaza, has been shot to death by the Israeli army while standing in his place near Khan Tunis, hours before the protests began.
There has been no immediate confirmation from the Israelite army of this event.
More than 500 Palestinians have remained injured, as Israeli forces have fired on protesters, also using tear gas, the Red Cross reported.
The demonstration commemorates Earth Day, which marks March 30th 1976 Day when six Palestinian citizens were killed by Israeli forces during protests over Israeli land seizures.
The march was called by all political factions and several Palestinian civil society organisations in the besieged enclave./Periscopi/
