During the week we were leaving behind in Kosovo remained the EU's top representatives. European Commission President Jean Claude Juncker, diplomatic chief Federica Moghrini, and Commissioner Johannes Hahn.
Moghrin on her personal blog last night has written that the Western Balkans may collectively be part of the European Union.
She emphasises that together with Thaci, Veselin and Haradinaj discussed Kosovo's future, and the fact that the wounds of the past must be closed.
“It is time to close the wounds of the past and take new steps to ensure stability in the region and throughout Europe. She also mentioned the meeting of Balkan leaders in Sofia, Bulgaria, in her writing.
“Biseda continued the following day in Sofia, Bulgaria, with six Balkan partners. In the coming months they had a unique opportunity to end the divisions in Europe, and to unite on our continent”, writes Federica Moghrini.
Unlike the visit European leaders made to Kosovo, the importance of ratification of the demarcation for visa liberalisation was stressed.
