Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has participated today with US Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasia Wes Mitchell.
They have agreed today, during a telephone conversation, that preserving peace is a prerequisite for continuing any talks on the future of the region.
As FoNet notes, Mitchell's Vuciq has exchanged positions for, as Serbia's presidential statement states, “the brutal attack on Kosovo Office Director Marko Djuric, who took place yesterday in northern Kosovo”.
Marko Djurovic was arrested yesterday in Mitrovica and later deported to Serbia.
