Education Minister Shyqi Bytyqi has reacted after the European institution EQ's decision to remove Kosovo from this organisation, due to political influence.
He has said it comes after the dismissal of the Kosovo Agency for Accreditation Board, as he says, not slightly influenced by the malicious information of any interest group, or malicious liaison for the country.
On the other hand, he has written that political hands in such agencies kill education, capture institutions and for the long run.
He vows that now, with his arrival at the post of minister of August, he is aiming to uncatch education from capture.
Here's the full Facebook response:
Honored citizens, concerned opinion and you parties of interest,
I am addressing you with this letter about the created situation and a steady tension of opinion on the European Union's decision to remove Kosovo from this three-month-long appeals organisation.
The tendency of such a departure comes as a consequence of distrust and suspicion (that we had not done a political blow), following the dismissal of the Kosovo Agency for Accreditation Board, influenced not a little by the malicious information of any group of interest, or malicious co-register for Kosovo.
Political hands in such agencies kill education, seize institutions and make higher customer education, with which we then suffer the consequences in time!
If anything lies on the foundation of my coming to the top of the education dictatorship, is this: Let's get our education off capture. This is also one of my program points, with which I have linked my public destiny. This is my duty not only but also our nation's effort. Education is society. Education is the economy. Education is the rule of law. So education is the very quality of life, and we here are not going to deal with the interceptors of the system, but we're going to give it every day and everywhere. This is our job, and unfortunately, at times the wrong past is also making our fight! The situation that we inherited in education is the honor and curse of our predecessors, even though it unjustly gets to us.
However, we do not feel good about this tendency to get away from this European mechanism, and we will greatly help the Accreditation Agency clarify the ECAR on these three months of deadlines, to stop leaving.
We ensure the opinion, ECAR, the interest parties in Kosovo, that we keep political hands off this institution and every educational institution. The list of names we have offered to the Parliament for approval testifies. The administration and the leaders of Parliament, to our surprise, have delayed this issue, and have not put it in order even in spite of its sensitivity. Despite the delay, it is expected tomorrow to be matter that awaits the approval of MPs.
We ensure the opinion that, never has Kosovo had a formal apolitical and, of course, professional list like this.
Let this situation also increase the sensitivity and understanding of MPs to give us a way with their voting, with which the new board would be put to work, and there would be ahead of itself all the time and our support, in communicating with the ECAR to bring everything back to its proper place.
Even if the opinion is informed, I had made a decision at the prime minister's request for the dismissal of the AKA Board.
We've done good or bad, the time will tell, but I've done it so long after that decision, I think we've done the right thing.
After all, we're here to make decisions. The future will judge us if we have done good or bad!
