Massive therapy can help people who suffer from chronic back pain, although after a time they lose useful influence, a team of American experts has ascertained.
The research has been done in 401 persons, some of whom have been selected by the “thahmin approach to standard care, while others have been subjected to one of the two types of massages: structural or relaxing, also known as the “swedez”, Reuters reports.
Among other things, only 30 percent of respondents who had passed massages received analgetics during the preliminary week compared with 40 percent of those in standard care.
In addition, 7 percent of respondents subjected to standard care last month have stayed in bed for at least one day until such in massage groups were half less.
However, some of the obvious favorable effects of massage have disappeared after just half a year, while all improvements have waned in a year's term.
Deyo concludes that some lifestyle changes may be the best solution for people with chronic back pain. And the exercise program is of key importance for the best daily functioning of these people, the American expert points out. /Telegraphy/
