Kosovo's System, Transition and Electricity Market operator (KOSTT) through a media statement have suggested they are concerned about the created energy situation in Kosovo.
COMM The STT has shown that Kosovo risks breaking out of the European intercontaining system in the event of the electronic system's imbalance.
The complete communication you find below:
COMM STT sh.a is very concerned with the created energy situation in Kosovo. Based on today's call from the Energy Regulatory Office, COSTS sh.a has given instructions to the National Dispenseric Centre not to issue further instructions for power reductions in Kosovo.
COMM STT reports the broad outlook and all consumers of electricity that instructions given in recent days for reducing electricity consumption have been made due to lack of domestic electricity (mainly due to KEK generation units for technical causes, as well as insufficient energy provided by suppliers KESCO). This is the case KO STT to balance the electromagnetic system, conforming its responsibilities, has given instructions to K ESCO for consumer outage as the last measure of action (the consumer balance energy trade at 100 EURU)
These instructions on consumer decoupling have been provided based on the Methodology on the Calculation of the Imbalance Awards and Compensation Awards (approved by ZRRE, the date 14,10.2016), respectively, Article 3.6.3, under which the public provider “is responsible for implementing KOST System Operator instructions for the removal of consumption, as the last opportunity for balancing the electromagnetic system.
COMM STT has never provided instructions for reductions in Kosovo, due to energy coverage of consumption in northern Kosovo. As you are aware of the consumption of the northern part of Kosovo, it is supplied through the purchase that energy from the budget provided by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and this by 31.03.18, so as not to be further diverted from the European intercontroversial system.
COMM STT sh.a, through a letter sent to ZRE, also announces that the European Transmission System Operators Network (ENTSO-E) has been requested in a ventricle by KO STT to interrupt deviations from the European intercontroversial network, otherwise if it continues with this behavior of deviations to European interconction, then NTSO-E will be shut off KOSTT from the continental European Sincrogenic Zone, which means the isolation of the entire electromagnetic system of Kosovo, the inability to import electricity from the region, Kosovo's electromagnetic system could not operate isolated due to the technical parameters of existing generation units, as well as all Kosovo consumers would remain without electricity, where the functioning of the country and public functions would be violated.
COMM The STT, as noted earlier, will act on the official letter/GRER request for reductions, and if it comes down to the Kosovo gap/ COMM STT from the European intercontinent network, as a result of the non-balancing of the electromagnetic system (directly non-balanancing the system through consumer reductions as a last resort, which does not in any way connect to the supply of consumption of the northern part of Kosovo), COSTT bears no responsibility for possible marked consequences!
