“Masacre was an additional blow after the violent departure of Serbs in 1999. In March 2004, some countries were completely emptied and we could not get people back there”, Yevtic said.
He has said in RTS that the problem with the return of displaced Serbs to Kosovo is not only a security issue, but also the economy and occupied properties.
According to him, the situation in Kosovo is now better.
“We don't have the problems we had years ago, but for example, the freedom of movement problem, except in Gjakova and Suhareka, where Serbs cannot move without police escorts. As for the return, it is not only a matter of security but also an economy. Someone might decide to come back when all things are considered”, Yevtic said, follows EO.
