Hashim Thaci relates moment when his flesh was left in his throat

They even believed it was a joke until the young man from Pristina told them identifying documents that they shared the same name and surname with the country's first.

For the owner of a business in Pristina, named Hashim Thaci, such cases have already become everyday.

Hashim Thaci, not the president, often receives privileges despite having no family connection with the country's first one, writes Infocus.

I have various experiences because of my name and surnames, but most of them have been positive and interesting”, Thaci tells us about the Infocus.

And according to him, the most interesting case has been that of panic caused at QKUK long ago when there were health problems.

The most interesting case occurred before a time at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo, I had a health complications, and the moment a family member of mine came in and asked for help for Hashim Thaci, doctors and medical sisters. There was panic, and the only word that was heard in the hallways was “But when they came to the room and saw me, they were a little depressed that I wasn't the President. They thought it was the cause until they saw my documents that my name and last name is identical to that of Kosovo President”, Thaci says.

This similarity to President Thaci has also helped him greatly during his studies, and on one occasion he has even received 10 without even entering the test.

I've had some more funtry during my studies. A professor after my presentation has released me from my participation in the lectures, even the grade he put me on was 10. And even in other institutions I have often had privileges”, says Pristina's Thaci.

It almost never happens to him to be fined by traffic police, until they understand his name and last name.

The weeks with the Kosovo Police are the most frequent. I'm mentioning the first one a few years ago. We were in Gracanica with company around midnight and we were stopped by the Kosovo Police Special Forces for Control. And now that they've seen my name and my last name, they've started laughing at me telling Prime Minister why you're not showing yourself to be yourself, says Thaci about his vaki until the prime minister was Hashim Thaci.

Even the number of messages you receive on social networks is huge. Many of them think he is the first of the country, and some are convinced he is familiar to President Hashim Thaci.

I got a lot of social networking messages. Most of them think I'm the president and they say hello to me, but there are also those who call for help. I mostly receive messages from his fellow fighters or the families of the martyrs”, Thaci tells of Infocus.

The cases when Kosovars share the same names with people on the world political scene are frequent, but the same does not happen with local ones.
