The meeting is held a day after the arrest of Serbian official Marko Djuric, who had entered Kosovo without permission.
The National Security Council consists of the prime minister, president, police director, KSF commander and Interior Minister. The last time such a meeting was held was after the assassination of northern Serb leader Oliver Ivanovic on 16 January.
