After heavy rainfall in recent days, the situation in the villages of the low plain of Under Shkodra is moving towards improvement.
In a proposal for ATSH, Shkodra County Prefect Cesk Milja says today the situation is moving towards normalisation.
The flooded area in Obot and Dajc has fallen, only during the first part of the day by 30%, while even natural lake flows are declining.
The 2300 hectares flooded the day before today's noon alone account for 1800 hectares flooded”, Milja said.
Furthermore, he informed that dismissals on the Drin River basin are zero.
We have only natural flows coming from the Sea Vau hydropower plant, which is working with full capacity and these flows are estimated at 550 cubic metres per second”, Milja said.
