The sudden separation from Davide Astor's life shocked the popular Italian football opinion, not alone.

The defender and captain of Fiorentina was dismissed today by causes that investigators say are natural, forcing top football leaders in Italy not to allow the development of any Serie A (7 matches, including Milan-Inter) and Serie B (two matches), which will be discussed Monday Day when they will be played.

But who was the Astor protector whom everyone remembers as a great man, ranging from Buffon to Totti?

Davide Astor was born in San Giovanni Bianco, in the province of Bergamo, on January 7, 1987. The centre guard, who played mostly with his left leg, began his career with Ponte San Pietro, a Milan satellite team. Then it was included in the “Prymavera” in the 2005-2006 season to borrow a season later at Pizzighettone in Serie C1, where it holds 27 matches and scores its first professional goal.

After returning to Milan, in 2007-2008, it is borrowed back to Cremonese, but in Serie C1, where 33 meetings would be in all.

In the summer of 2008, Calilar would buy half of his cardboard and, with the sards, debuted for the first time in Serie A on September 14th that year, at the age of 21, in the match with Siena. On November 30th of that year, it was to go down for the first time as a title in Italian football elite, a match that Calilar won 1-0 with Sampdorian. During his first season in Sardinia, he was to play 10 games.

In the summer of 2009, co-ownership with Milan would be renewed and Astor would become an undisputed title of the sardinal formation, playing 34 out of 38 matches, even scored his first goal in Serbia A to Fiorentina.

On June 25th 2010, co-ownership would be renewed between Cagliar and Milan, but a year later, the sards would buy the other half of the cards from the red club.

In the 2011-2012 season, it would play title in the first few weeks, before having a heavy fracture. A championship later could not repeat the previously shown levels. Two seasons would further close the championship with 34 matches played in the championship and one in the Italian Cup, while on July 23, 2014, it would be renewed with the team from Sardinja for three years, with a contract of up to 2017. But the next day, it would pass as a loan to Rome for the amount of 2 million euros, but the accord allowed the verdex to buy it eventually, which could happen from the 2015-2016 season.

On August 30th of that year, he would debut with Rome in front of Fiorentina in victory 2-0. On September 19th, he would also debut in the League Champions, during the challenge being fought against the Moscow CSKA Russians, which ended with a 5-1 victory for Italian capitalists. On January 6th, it will mark its first goal with Rome, in victory over the Udinese in “Friuli”. This season would end with 29 representations and only 1 scored goal.

Rome did not buy it, and after the return to Calilar, it would officially pass to Fiorentina on August 4, 2015, signing a four-year contract. Debiting with team “viola” on August 23rd at the Fiorentina-Milan 2-0 challenge to win the title post. At the end of the season, Fiorentina would pay 5m euros to Calilar for it. On October 26, 2016, it will mark the first goal with “viola”, to Crotans in that draw-1. To get to the current season, when after Gonzalo Javier Rodriguez left, he would take the captain's tape.

Astor has a short career with Italy's nationals. He started playing with U18, but on August 6, 2010, he was to gather for the first time with the “asurs” large from Cesare Prandell, a newly appointed Italian technician, for friendly to Côte d'Ivoire.

His debut with Italy would be registered on March 29, 2011, at the age of 24, in the friendly Italy won over Ukraine in transfers. That match would be twice as yellow.

On June 6, 2012, there was the best opportunity to accumulate with Italy before the Europeans that year. He became involved in the national country for a few days, pending medical tests that Andrea Barzagli was conducting, but when the latter was confirmed that he could play, Astor left the gathering.

On June 3, 2013, Cesare Prandell would include it on the list of 23 players for the Konfederata Cup in Brazil. It would mark its first goal with <x0).
