The Kosovo Assembly in the coming week will have two days' continuation of the session and on Thursday a new session, but in neither will the demarcation issue with Montenegro be considered, as votes are lacking.
For this, Parliament Speaker Kadri Veseli, after meeting the Parliament's leadership with the parliamentary group chiefs, has announced that Tuesday and Wednesday there will be a session continuing, while on Thursday there will be new sessions.
Wessel also stopped at ratification of the border agreement with Montenegro, where he stressed that he needed a more civic reflection of the Vetevendosje Movement and would immediately go to the session.
We expect to do even more what most citizens expect to ratify even the agreement that has remained without ratification. Very soon we expect the reflection of opposition colleagues, there are good signs, I believe we will soon reach consensus, it's in the interest of citizens, it's in the best interests of the state, and I believe we have a decision-making soon... . Because of the need for consensus, we need a few more votes, just a more civic reflection of a part of Vetevendosje and we went straight to the session, in the positive way I'm saying”, Veselin said.
According to him, Kosovo is on a good track on Euro-Atlantic travel.
A decision-making that would be much faster would have done much better for Kosovo and our citizens, so that decision-making in the European Union is positive in visa liberalisation, we are always talking within this year to have the free movement of our citizens and I am very sure we will achieve this”, he said.
The first to leave the leadership was the head of the Social Democrat Initiative parliamentary group, Bilall the Sheriff, who said the decision was made that at the hearings was left to continue on Tuesday from now. For the demarcation, however, he said it was not discussed because few votes were missing.
The “for it is not talked about because you know there are two, three votes missing, as it seems they are not yet secured and until they are not secured, the following session can't be called, or at least there is no readiness to call the session before there is any certainty that it can be voted”, he said.
Otherwise, in the continuation of the new sessions and session there are 52 points of the agenda, which will be addressed.
