At least 37 people, including women and children, have been killed, as well as 80 others have been injured following the Syrian regime's air attacks in the eastern Guta area, activists report, reports “Al Jazeera”, the Periscopi broadcast.
Sources on the ground and rescuers from Syrian Civil Protection, a volunteer group of rescuers also known as the White Helmets, said that on Friday due to the air bombing of the napalm gas, many people in the city of Arben have been burned alive.
“An air strike hit the basements of an underground section last night where there were between 117 and 125 people, most of them women and children,” said an activist from eastern Guta, Izhet Muslims.
Another activist, Zaher Hassoun, confirmed that the Syrian government has issued napalm gas bombs, a flammable liquid that causes severe burns.
Earlier this month, Syrian Civil Protection has said the Syrian government used chlorine, phosphorus and napalm gas. The news followed after several sources have declared that chemical attacks will occur within days.
The eastern gun has been under armed opposition control since 2013.
More than 1, 500 Syrians have died in this area, since regime forces have been backed by Russian military planes that have launched attacks on February 18th of this year.. /Periscopi/
