Former leader of the KLA Commission for Verification of Veterans Agim Ceku, now KSF deputy minister Agim Ceku, has declared it is not good that a part of war veterans have acted by leaving the job on their own to get 170 euros in veterans' pension.
This thing that's happened isn't good, and I'm not glad they did that, it's against the military code. That's the problem. We must ask to clear war veterans' lists”, Ceku said in RTK.
According to Ceku, out of 70 thousand war veterans' applications, only 11,000 of them have claimed no income. The “should be investigated lists, as initially stated 11,000 of them that they have no income and then the number increased, that is very easy to verify, because their apps are written to have additional revenues”, Ceku said.
Kosovo's Special Prosecutor, meanwhile, is investigating veterans' lists, yet there is still no decision on the issue.
