Scandal detonated with what is being known as “Cambridge Analytica” can personally send Mark Zuckerberg before a British parliamentary committee.
The founder of the world's largest social network has been called to explain the use of 50 million people to influence the presidential election of the United States of 2016.
The head of the Committee that is investigating false news directly accused Facebook of misusing data and misinforming this committee.
Last week, Collins said he would want clarifications from Mark Zuckerberg himself on the issue, and now the application has become official even in writing.
It's time to hear from top Facebook executives, with the authority and capacity to give us the necessary clarifications for this catastrophic failure in protecting citizen data”, says Collins's request.
The consulting company itself, “Cambridge Analytica” denies that she violated laws or abused her work, despite Britain's Information Commissioner Elizabeth Denham's stated she would request authorisation from the court to check the offices of this company.
“Cambridge Analytica” is believed to have used the data of over 50 million “users Facebook” to create individualised reports targeting American voters with certain messages.
The data was partially analyzed with what is known as “the psychological personality model” based on 5 features, or “O CEAN V”
What is obtained can be targeted, for example, by believing voters with about 30% of messages focused on religion, 20% messages on gun rights, and 30% economically content messages; while members of the weapons association “NRA” most sending to “Facebook” sent messages linked to gunkeeping rights.
