The “Citizens banned from police bodies are legitimate residents and, with a years-long activity, conforming the laws of the Republic of Kosovo. Given this unprecedented situation created with the ban on the main shareholder, Mustafa Erdem, as well as school directors, let you know that the consequences lead to paralysing the activity of all educational institutions depending on ECA Gulistan. As a result, the primary injuries from this illegal act are students and their families, who have the right not to be affected in any form of educational activity”, said this Board's response.
“It is the direct responsibility of political actors and lawmakers to guarantee the rights of Kosovo citizens. While violating access to Kosovo children's education is a serious violation, with consequences against them. Education institutions, licensed for years in Kosovo, have made an invaluable contribution to the education of new generations. Institutions in question, throughout the time of their activity, thanks to high successes and achievements, enjoy support and evaluations from Kosovo society and all monitoring institutions and responsible for education”, it is further said in response.
From the point of view of business law, the company CEA Gulistan suggests it exercises its activity, in accordance with all legal obligations.
On the other hand, these legally unjustified actions undermine the company's trade activity, whose rights the Board of Stockists is determined to defend in respect of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and international rights. This situation calls for immediate intervention, of all institutions and law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Kosovo to avoid further damage to its move
unworthy of the Republic of Kosovo”.
The Board of Stockists says it is closely following “this situation and requires the accountability of all persons who, with their actions or inactions involved in this grave and humiliating event for the image of the Republic of Kosovo”.
“Requesting the immediate release of all detainees to return educational activity to normality because in our knowledge they are still at Pristina airport”.
