Reports of chemical weapons use in the area have no halt, while the overall balance of victims from the government offensive that started on February 19th has almost reached 10,000.

Doctors in eastern Guton said that dozens of people were shown at hospital centres with respiratory problems, symptoms similar to those caused by chemical weapons.

The international community, despite verbal criticism against Syria and Russia, appears to be handing over and powerless to prevent violence in the Eastern Guta, and even no aid is being able to get there.

The UN convoy and the Red Cross, which had to enter enclaves on Thursday, was halted due to fierce bombings. UN field officials said they could not only send aid, but Bashar al-Assad forces removed medical equipment and medicine from trucks, follows the TCh.

Assad's army, with Russian help, has been able to split the Eastern Guten in half and tighten the snare around the rebels, despite the high cost of civilian life.
