Pristina's first member, Shpend Ahmeti, through his Facebook profile, has announced that Pristina's municipality has applied to the Ministry of Finance to allow the financing of the troupe of actors at the capital theatre.
The city's “Theatrics must have the resident body in accordance with the law. On March 13th, we submitted a request to the Ministry of Finance to allow funding for the residential body in accordance with Pristina actors' request. The capital should have the operational theatre”, wrote Shpend Ahmeti on Facebook.
In demand sent to the Ministry of Finance, the Pristina municipality wants to increase the number of employees in Pristina Theatre for 20 sosh.
Calculating the basic wage of current actors' workers, which according to the Pristina municipality is 400 euros of basic salaries, the cost of adding 20 workers would be 8 thousand euros per month or 96 thousand euros per year.
