According to a UN search conducted in 2015, the majority of Serbs and Albanians are not yet willing to co-operate together or even live in the same environment, while nearly no one is willing to be crowned with each other, so Serbs with Albanians and vice versa.
“Imagine yourself in the situation of falling in love with the Albanians, and you're related to marriage or having children. How will you explain to your mother, your father, your family...?
The same portal has conducted a poll on the streets of Belgrade, asking citizens whether to establish ties or marry Albanians and vice versa.
“Most were a little surprised at this question. There were also respondents who said that love exceeds interethnic divisions”.
