Abdixhiku casts grave charges towards Haradinaj for budget spending

Democratic League of Kosovo MP Lumir Abdixhiku, at today's parliamentary session, has said that the distribution of state budget money without any criteria has taken place, without any analysis, with principal reasonings of whims and case, Periscope reports.

Everything had started with drilling in the house, when property was paid multiplely more expensive than real prices. It had continued with the forgiveness of 50,000 euros to water producers, even though an apology required parliamentary approval. It had also continued with the granting of 280 euros in the Kumanovo case, and at the end of the year it had culminated with the government cabinet's record increase and later with the salary increase for them”, he said.

Abdixhiku said such a practice has unfortunately continued this year.

Various thousands of millions of euros are constantly given in arbitrary form, sometimes for the Serb current in the north and now for commemorative ceremonies”, he said.

According to him, Haradinaj's request to date 950 thousand euros for marking the 550th anniversary of national hero “Skenderbeu”, it's scandalous considering the economic situation in the country.

A lot of nearly a million required for marking an anniversary at a time when Kosovo hospitals are still without free medicine is out of line for the serious economic situation in the country. And above all, this was also the alarming state of the state reserve in just two executive months.
