Republic of Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has commemorated the 19th anniversary of NATO troops' entry into Kosovo.

A flag has been set up at the Government facility this morning, as a continuation of thanks for NATO's irreplaceable role of liberation.

Prime Minister Haradinaj's full message:

March 24th 1999 marks the beginning of Kosovo's new history when the free world interrupted a serious cleansing and persecution campaign of the people of Kosovo.

The people of Kosovo will forever be grateful to the United States of America, NATO, President Bill Clinton, Secretary Madeleine Albright, General Wesley Clark, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and the entire democratic world that contributed to Kosovo's freedom.
