Wessel: Kosovo to Continue Economic Reforms

The head of the Republic of Kosovo's Parliament, Kadri Veseli, has hosted the International Monetary Fund Deputy Manager Tao Zhang at the meeting today.

Chief Prime Minister Wessel thanked the IMF for its support and is giving Kosovo.

According to a Parliament communique, Kosovo's stable financial situation was highly praised, as well as the fact that Kosovo has noted considerable progress in managing public finances. At the same time, the next fact was confirmed that Kosovo is the country with the largest economic growth rate in the region.

Chairman Wessel spoke of the need for further strengthening of the private sector, which contributes greatly to our country's economic progress and the well-being of our citizens.

In this direction, he stressed that economic reforms along with good governance and rule of law will be permanent priorities.
