How long do we have to walk?
Ten thousand steps correspond to 5 miles [7.5 km] to travel from the moment you wake up and to sleep with fractions during the day. Counting them, available on many apps on the phone, thus becomes a valuable tool for measuring our daily physical activity. Otherwise, it takes 30 to 40 minutes a day to walk fast.
Walking is a fitting activity for those in full health. But medical care and control should be taken over by those who suffer from heart attacks or other problems with joints.
Why do we have to walk?
It's a physical activity that improves cardio-vascular and pulmonary functionality, develops muscles and bones. Walking regularly helps and weight loss, if combined with proper nutrition, awakens metabolicism, has positive effects on blood pressure, bad cholesterol levels, and diabetes triglycerides.
Walking is also a form of psychological therapy because it leaves routine, closed environments, clean air, calms the mind, and relieves stress.
