The compromised process of condemning Vetevendosje Movement activists and resolution from parliamentary debate” was the topic of the table organised today by this movement.
VV chairman Albin Kurti has made a resume of all events that have occurred since 2016. He said that last November 19th of last year, the run-off for local elections in Kosovo was held, but only two days earlier the Constitutional Court sentenced VV activists to 21 years in prison.
According to him, all the evidence and testimony offered have proved what Vetevendosje has repeatedly said and is the innocence of activists.
Kurti said the whole process is political chase.
Glauk Konjufca, chairman of the Parliamentary Group of Vetevendosje, said the case of archives should be given a political context. He considers the case to be closely linked to the political situation at the time.
“state needs an event to incriminate the opposition. The second argument is the capture of the Kosovo Police. Kosovo police are very caught, and power can do anything. Even justice is very captured. The same judge takes the case of activists and MPs. Becir Kaluldra is a certainty that the case will go as power needs”, Konjufca said, Kosovapress reports.
He also said that the court's death of Astri Dehar was crucial.
Tome Gashi, Frasher Krasniqi's lawyer, has reiterated that this is a political case.
The murder of Astrit Dehar has been the main motive the prosecution has quickly completed investigations”, Gashi said.
He said he's never seen more controvers and marked in a scandalous manner. Gashi at this table said they have provided a new test that excuses Vetevendosje activists, but did not show what new evidence it is about.
According to him, all this has been wrapped up in fear of power for the murder of Astrit Dehar.
