It has also been said that anti-terrorism police have targeted suspects who have acted on behalf of jihadists, going to conflict areas in Syria and Iraq, as well as preparing terrorist attacks in Turkey.
Although no data has been provided on which locations the shares were conducted, it has been reported that raids took place in 10 districts.
Turkey has been a partner of the United States-led coalition against Islamic State fighters (IS).
