Thaci, Vujanovic issue joint declaration of demarcation

The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci today, has indicated that along with Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic, a joint declaration for demarcation in the form of an annex has been issued.

With the necessity of moving as quickly as possible, with the aim of empowering the good neighbourly, but also the will of the fight, praising the good will of Montenegro, I want to extend before you in the last 48 hours, the president of Kosovo and the president of Montenegro issued a joint statement encouraging the Kosovo Assembly to ratify the deportation, Thaci said, Periskopi reports.

He has said that this statement was made even after talks with former Prime Minister Djukanovic and the contribution of the visit to Kosovo of the current Montenegrin prime minister.

This joint declaration is initiated by bilateral co-operation, respecting sovereignty and territorial integrity. With this intended to complete ratification, then in compliance, we will have a joint body that will work in co-operation with Montenegro. Again, we will consider all possibilities and commitments for the findings to be considered, Thaci added.
