Kosovo President Hashim Thaci accepted credentials from Finland's new ambassador, Pia Styernvall.
President Thaci has congratulated him on his new task, offering full support to the exercise of ambassadorship in Kosovo.
“We will always be grateful for the support Finland has given to Kosovo in all periods, from declaring independence to building state and strengthening international subjectivity”, the president stressed.
President Thaci has offered Ambassador Styernvall support in strengthening bilateral co-operation between the two states.
On the other hand, Finland's new ambassador, Pia Styernvall, has said Finland will continue its support for Kosovo.
President Thaci has finally thanked the ambassador for the recognition Finland has made to Kosovo, thus contributing to peace and stability in the Balkans and Europe.
