We stole on behalf of the Adem Jashari complex

Although it was announced ten years ago with the architect's project, Rama Progress, for the conservation of the “Adem Jashar” complex, the Government of Kosovo has shown neglect, leaving this memorial complex in an unwanted state. Thus states in an interview for KosovaPress Opinionist Dardan Islami, under which the 9 million spent on maintenance of this complex have been looted, as the state of complex “Adem Jashari” remains bad.
It wasn't just his idea, it was no idea. The condition of Momorial itself shows what condition he is in, his own condition indicating that he is falling apart, there is no shield, it shows that people have been interested in their own jobs, to repair their homes. . They've turned down the line, deceived him, lied to him, as always. The worst news is that around 9 million were spent there, and that remains in this situation, it's even worse because we spent, and we stole on behalf of that”, he said.
Regarding this project, which was made public in Kosovo media a few days ago, Islam explained more specifically what was the work of this project 10 years ago.
This project is designed and initiated by renowned architect Progress Rama, now operating in London for 20 years. This project was introduced with its initiative to London's Free Group company in 2010, was introduced to Kosovo institutions at the time, or Prime Minister Thaci, who had enjoyed it in principle and promised to consider it, but unfortunately the result shows us what state the Memorial is today. It's about neglect, it tells of a mentality we've seen here for 20 years. So this project has been treated as road and asphalt tenders that are maintained every year, but, in reality, they have missed the basic principle, their home conservation. Polls are flat, graves are laid but it's not enough”, he said.
According to him, the project in question also provided solutions to the very expensive financing issue. For this, Islam said that with little attractiveness, visitors to the Hive could contribute to the collection of a fund for maintenance of “Muzeu”.
“The memory problem is that their maintenance is always expensive, and as such, this project is designed to be interactive with visitors, when we know this is Mecca and the Albanian Medina, which comes in summer with hundreds of thousands of visitors who will be able to contribute with a text, put a string on that wall, which takes a euro automatically. So with its own museum stores, with souvenirs, it will keep the object alive, which also wants special ventilation”, he said.
Islam, however, voiced optimism that the problem of presuming the “Adem Jashari” complex will be solved, as at the initiative taken the previous day “for saving the Jashari” Family complex this issue has been currentised and responsible institutions are starting to move towards solving this problem.
I'm glad people like Yusuf Thaci started this initiative and was supported by many people. Even the institutions were quick this time. We saw Mr. Daut Haradinaj, as chairman of the Parliamentary Commission for Memorial, who reacted quickly and appears to be going to speed up this process and invite other interested ones to participate in this tender, where it will become not only a memorial, but a” museum, he said.
