After her husband's death, she had been offered various assistance to support her family and to heal her three - year - old daughter, who suffers from cancer. But her house on Saturday morning was robbed by thieves.
She confirmed this in a conversation with Insider, saying that the amount of money stolen amounts to about 1,000 euros.
“I had thieves come into my house this morning, stealing all the money that charity had given me. That very little amount of 1000 euros. I immediately called the police and they came to me”, said Podvorica.
Both Kosovo Police Sergeant Fatmir Potter and Podujevo have confirmed the case.
“Around 7am Saturday, Kosovo Police have received information on theft at a house in the town of Podujevo. Our team has arrived at the scene, and according to the lady of the house, 780 euros has been stolen in cash, along with her wallet in which the identification of the injured and her late husband has been issued. Police have completed the case and now the entire procedure is under investigation” has said Potter.
