A young man from Serbia who shot at being present in one of the most controversial murders during the post-war, has related in detail what he saw in a Serbian Gendarmerie training centre.
Ivan Pajik has exclusively confessed to the Kosovo show "Life" how he saw one of his brothers fired “Bytici”.
I was an eyewitness to the murder of the Bytyci brothers, of a brother killed, so I was present when he was deprived of life”, Pajic said.
He indicated that on July 9th 1999 at the Serbian Gendarmerie training centre in Petrovo Selo had seen three civilians and three soldiers and then fled when one of the soldiers had shot at one civilian.
He had realized that civilians in question were the Bytyci brothers only after media reports.
Bytyci brothers, Albanians with American citizenship, former members of the Kosovo Liberation Army had been found dead in Serbia, two years after the war in Kosovo.
In this interview, Pajic speaks about statements he had delivered to Serbia's Prosecution after the case and how his life had continued after the testimony.
