Serbian criminal's son vies for Republika Srpska chairman

Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik has declined to comment on the news that the son of Ratko Mladic, the war crimes criminal accused in Bosnia and Herzegovina against whose trial is under way in The Hague, is one of Republika Srpska's presidential candidates in the preliminary elections, Time broadcasts. Dodik, as Rtrs reports, has said to have heard about these speculations, but, according to him, will decide SNSD party organs for candidacy.

“For SNSD candidates, opinion will be announced over time” Dodik has said.

According to Serbian media, Darko Mladic is one of the likely SNSD candidates for Republika Srpska chairmanship in the general elections.

Mladic is said to have entered the narrow circle of SNSD's elected candidates for Republika Srpska chairman.
