Selimi: Politics lies behind violations in the police

He has said that a dangerous “situation has been created in both of these institutions.

“There are political parties that have consistently tried to exercise their illegal influence on state institutions, and we also have the politicisation of two main pillars, justice and police. Unfortunately, besides the problems inside them there is also a political support to which these people inside feel indebted, because they think they owe them after putting them in these positions”, Selimi said at Express Interview.

He has added that in police and justice institutions there is organised crime “with the policy that stands behind”.

According to Selimi, all abusers of police, prosecutors and police inspectors are connected and are protecting each other.
