The Kosovo Assembly will meet today ( Thursday) to review the Law for ratification of the demarcation Agreement with Montenegro. The bill has been attached to the Bullics and “Declaration” of the presidents Thaci-Vujanovic, who, according to the opposition, both documents serve only to have “save the prime minister's face”, writes today Koha Ditore.
Due to lack of votes for ratification, the ruling parties have cited the possibility that the vote will not take place Thursday.
To grant the power of the international demarcation agreement, more than 80 votes are needed, which cannot be achieved only with the support of LDK. The Serbian list did not participate in the chairmanship meeting, until earlier it has warned they do not have a vote for demarcation without the establishment of Association.
Of the Albanian parties, the Vetevendosje Movement has remained alone in opposition, as the AAK and the Initiative, which for nearly three years were part of a cause, will now vote on Murat Mesha's borders. For Prime Minister Haradinaj, it has sufficed “The Joint Declaration” to support the 2015 Agreement. But according to international law experts the alleged corrections could never be made, as only the official version is valid for Montenegro.
