“All roads are perishable in Kosovo”

Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Rexhep Kadriu has now declared that all roads in the Republic of Kosovo are fruitless, including those on higher ground.

According to him, last night there was snow about 60 inches [70 cm].

“We have taken measures to clean up national roads, during the night our teams have been on the ground and can confirm that all roads in the Republic of Kosovo are dead, even those in Presvala and higher ground”, he said.

He said citizens should be careful added to the streets but be careful and understanding even with trucks cleaning up roads.

Otherwise from yesterday Kosovo has faced increased intensity of snow, while meteorologists say such temperatures by -12 and snowfall will occur by Thursday.
